Tickets for the 2012 olympics

I just found out the other day that tickets for the 2012 olympics in london do not go on sale until sometime in 2011. They will remain on sale until they are either sold out or up to the day of the event. I know it seems like a while away but, I am going to plan out the events I want to see in order of importance and then when tickets become available, I will have some back ups in case the events I want to see sell out before I can get tickets. I am only hoping to see about 4 or 5 events.
